Trinchesia caerulea (Montagu, 1804)

18 September, 2005.
South Gortein Reef, Loch Fyne on the west coast .
This 12 mm animal was found at 15 metres on the cable as it crosses the first , southerly, section of the reef. Water temperature 14° C.
Fuji F810 in Ikelite housing and Epoque 2 x DML-2 close up lenses with 2 x Inon D-2000 slave flashes.
