Introduction

Capturing the images that appear on the site was the start of my interest in nudibranchs and other sea slugs. This lead on to attempting to identify the animals I had seen, not always a straightforward exercise.

Nudibranchs of the British IslesThe identifications are mine, based on Dr. Bernard E. Picton and Christine C. Morrow's excellent publication
A Field Guide to the Nudibranchs of the British Isles
and on Dr. Picton's and others' occasional advice.

If you have any questions to ask about nudibranchs or need to indentify them then try Dr. Bill Rudman's
The Sea Slug Forum
.
For the widest collection of images of nudibranchs then consult Erwin Köhler's

Opisthobranchs of the World.

If you are interested in learning more about nudibranchs or other opistobranchs then the best site to start with is The Opisthobranch Site.
The Slug Site is another favourite link where you will find a comprehensive list of links to all the best nudibranch sites on the web.

Scottish Sub Aqua Club If you are interested in scuba diving in Scotland then the best place to start is with The Scottish Sub Aqua Club or come along to my Branch West Lothian SAC in Bathgate. West Lothian Sub Aqua Club
